Briona (ZIP code 28072) belongs to the province of Novara and is 23 kilometers far from Novara, that is the Chief Town of the homonymous province.

Briona has a population of 1.133 inhabitants (Brionesi) and a surface of 24,7 square kilometers thus showing a population density of 45,87 inhabitants per square kilometer. It rises 205 metres above the sea level.

After the national census made in 2001 the population was 1.133 inhabitants, thus showing during the years 1991 - 2001 a percentual variation of 1,43% inhabitants.

The inhabitants are distributed in 481 families with an average of 2,36 people per family.

The place: The territory of the municipality lies between 172 and 247 metres above sea level.

The altimetric spawn is thus of 75 metres.
